The Gourmandise Scholarship Fund & 2022 Day of Giving
Gourmandise is thrilled to announce the creation of the Gourmandise Scholarship Fund. Each year, Gourmandise will contribute part of its earnings to this fund by holding a community-wide Day of Giving, where it will donate 100% of every dollar made between both the downtown SLC and Draper locations (and one day, American Fork!). We are starting off this fund with a $10,000 donation from last year’s earnings! This fund will be set up through Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) in hopes of helping qualified individuals achieve their education and career goals with the help of financial aid from Gourmandise.
The scholarship fund is through SLCC only. Scholarships will be given in various increments depending on the applicant’s needs and merits. Our hope is to benefit and aid as many applicants as we can!
Who can apply?
The Gourmandise Scholarship Fund is available for anyone to apply. Gourmandise employees, friends and family of employees, and anyone in the general public are welcome. Applicants are evaluated on a number of criteria including but not limited to GPA, area of study, extra-curricular activities, relevant experience, service, etc. The scholarship fund is through SLCC only. Scholarships will be given in various increments depending on the applicant’s needs and merits. Our hope is to benefit and aid as many applicants as we can. More to come on how to apply!
Why are we doing it?
Utah has been the most wonderful place for Gourmandise to call home for over 30 years. The blessing of serving millions of great people has filled us with unspeakable gratitude and we’re excited about this tangible way of continuing to support and encourage our beloved community as well as our employees and their families. It’s a joy to give back and we hope these scholarships help people who have hopes and dreams of furthering their education and achieving specific professional goals.
2022 Gourmandise Day of Giving!
On Tuesday March 1, 2022, we are holding a Day of Giving at both the downtown SLC and Draper locations. On this date, 100% of every dollar made will go directly to the Gourmandise Scholarship Fund. We are inviting our customers and other members of the community to come out, eat, and contribute to this worthy cause. We are looking forward to a fun and successful day and we hope to see you there!
